ANBERNIC RG CubeXX – Cheaper squarish display game console
If the ANBERNIC RG Cube is something you fancy but you are not into an Android based machine, then the ANBERNIC RG CubeXX could be the alternative. The ANBERNIC RG CubeXX is a 64-bit Linux based machine instead. And its price is cheaper too considering the much simpler features and specifications being put together. At a quick glance, this game console looks pretty similar to its predecessor. The ANBERNIC RG CubeXX too comes with a 3.95 inch squarish IPS Screen with 720×720 resolution. But the H700 quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor installed is a lower performance processor than the RG Cube instead.
Other specifications wise, this machine comes with a 1GB LPDDR4X RAM and has a default 32GB storage. Depending on the different packages, you can opt to also go with pre-installed games which will be slotted onto its TF2 slot. With these specifications, this machine is capable to play higher bit retro games such as PSP, Nintendo 64 and many more. Expect some inconsistent performance if heavy duty games were played in this case. The RG CubeXX is also built-in with a single OTG/USB-C port. This allows the machine to connect with other USB accessories. The same port will be used for recharging the RG Cube too.
There is a mini HDMI port too. Something which the RG Cube doesn’t comes with. This allows the console to connect to a bigger screen while still having an additional USB port for other usage. The RG CubeXX comes with a smaller capacity battery at 3,800 mAh. At this capacity, the machine should last up to approximately 6.5 hours (depending on gameplay and setting). And there are three colours to choose from based on liking, being black, white and grey.
